Mere National School, 1898.

The school building is now the public library, museum and information point.

The nearby Grove Buildings were part of the school.

The picture shows children who had made unbroken attendances during 1898. They are shown in the school playground which is opposite the Grove Buildings in what is now part of  No.1 Church Street
