The Grove Buildings

The Grove Buildings
The Grove Buildings being used as a Red Cross Hospital

The Grove Buildings were built in 1891 in Church Street to provide additional classrooms for the National School and for a small 'parish room' with its separate entrance. The cost of the building was largely met by the generosity of Miss Julia Chafyn Grove of Zeals House. During the 1914-18 War it was used as a Red Cross Hospital. It is now used as a church hall.
