Yapp Brothers

Yapp Brothers are wine importers, based in Mere. Yapp Brothers is situated in buildings that were originally an 18th century malthouse, then a brewery, then a bacon-curing factory and in the early 20th century, a milk-processing factory. Yapp Bros. acquired the site in 1973 and installed an imposing fountain in the courtyard which is a copy of a fountain at Chateauneuf du Pape in France.  The business is now of international renown.
